Biography
The career of the brilliant young Hungarian concert pianist, Daniel Villanyi keeps rising.
Having finished his education at the Franz Liszt Music Academy, Budapest (2010, BA degree, Prof. Kalman Drafi, Andras Kemenes, Rita Wagner, Marta Gulyas), at the Hochschule fur Musik Franz Liszt, Weimar (2013, MA degree, Prof. Balazs Szokolay, Larissa Kondrateva), and at the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music, Tel-Aviv (2013, Prof. Emanuel Krasowsky), he is now ready to conquer the world of performing arts.
He has already given a number of recitals, concertos and chamber music concerts at the most prestigious venues of Hungary („Rising Stars” International Series (ECHO) Palace of Arts, Budapest), Germany (Jena Philharmonic Orchestra, Chemnitz, Weimar, Berlin),
Austria (Vienna, Salzburg), Switzerland (Geneva, Zurich) and Brussels (Bozar), just to name a few, and is often invited as a guest artist for private and fundraising events as well.
He has worked with renowned conductors like Ivan Fischer, Janos Kovacs, Tamas Vasary, and chamber partners Andras Kemenes, Kalman Berkes, Lydia Rinecker.
His charismatic personality and his repertoire are both coming through with great strength. The depth of his soul and mind are mature beyond his age, and the way his impeccable interpretation gives a profound understanding of classical music, is extraordinary.
